RetrObsession's history is really a collaboration of two websites, the first of which was created back in 2002 and home to my initial collection of old school gaming computers, consoles and games (www.retro-mark.co.uk). Rubik's cubes then followed, all of which I still collect to this day.

In 2005 I started an retro gaming forum (www.retrobsession.net) with the assistance of some other collectors of games and associated areas. www.retrobsession.com was to be the website partner to the forum detailing interviews from such game writers like Matthew Smith (Manic Miner), online games and member collections. In early 2006, due to one reason or another I decided to cease the forum and concentrate on my retro collections.

The old site, though nice in design seemed restrictive and cramped so on the spur of the moment I decided to change the look and feel into something more accessible.

The contact and friendships I have made because of my drive to know more spurs me on to create a difinative reference point that everyone can use and at the same contact me if the information they are looking for is not to hand.
